Our Services
Becoming a Client

Becoming a Client

We are pleased that you are thinking about becoming a client of our medical services.

To request medical, mental health, or dental care at BCAR, you will first need to be screened for eligibility by our staff, after which they can help you set up your first appointment. To request an eligibility appointment please call our main number at 325-672-3077

Once you become a client at BCAR, you can access a variety of services, including medical, dental, nutritional advice, case management and our pharmacy.

As a client of BCAR you will have certain rights and responsibilities.  A copy of our Consumer Rights and Responsibilities is provided to every new client at the time of registration and forms the basis of the relationship between BCAR and each client we serve.

Comprehensive and Compassionate Medical Care

BCAR offers comprehensive and compassionate health care for all patients living with HIV/AIDS and includes preventative exams and care for chronic and urgent health issues. In addition to being experts in treating HIV, our medical providers have expertise in treating infectious diseases and chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and hepatitis as well as gynecology, prenatal care and pregnancy.

Your health care is offered in a culturally and linguistically competent and affirming environment and we welcome all persons living with HIV/AIDS.

For your convenience, we also offer an on-site laboratory (urine collection and blood-draw) services.

What to bring to your first visit:
  1. Your Health Insurance Card (if you have insurance)
  2. A list of medications that you are currently taking
  3. Your   NEW PATIENT INTAKE PACKET
If you do not currently have insurance, don’t worry. Our staff will evaluate you for potential insurance coverage and public health benefits.
